Cameron Oaks History

In the 1950's Visonary Larry Cameron purchesed 5000 foothill acers that is now known as Cameron Park. The land was purchesed for ranching purposes but slowly in a matter of time he divided the area into lots of varying sizes. Some historical features in this area deal with some grinding rocks and burial grounds of the Niesnan Branch of the Maidu indians.
